 Kaiyang NO. 4 middle school was established in 2003, covered the beginning of a full high school education and teaching middle school. The school is located in the County Town Ring Road No. 86, the transportation of Ring Road which through the front of the school, is very convenient. The school covers an area of 33 acres, the campus is open and spacious venue, pines and cypresses, surrounded by beautiful scenery, beautiful environment , fresh air , grand scale view, although at the city , but no noise, which is suitable place for young children to study.

The school has a building area of 10000 square meters, of which3 teaching buildings, 2 dormitory buildings. The student cafeteria, snack bars and other service facilities are available for the accommodation of nearly 1,000 people. The school has a 250 meters specifications of circular runway, three basketball courts and a table tennis court with nine tables. This is a fully equipped school facilities, which has 40 regular classrooms , the physical and chemical laboratories of eight , NC network a classroom of one , two multimedia classrooms (including an amphitheater with 209 seats), a computer room , a library with 5 million volumes books and magazines, a large meeting room and a small one.

In 2003,GuizhouNormalUniversitydecided for our school to as " the science teaching and research base ofGuizhouNormalUniversity" through the test.  At the same year, our school was awarded “advanced education in schools”,  " two basics" advanced collective," the first prize of Pushi " advanced collective bycountyPartycommittee and county people's government . The provincial people's Government Education and the Provincial Department of Education awarded our school the " popularization of experiment teaching in provincial model school".
